Expo SDK 55 リリース：React Native 0.83、Expo Router v7、多数の新機能#
Expo SDK 55がリリースされ、React Native 0.83およびReact 19.2に対応しました。レガシーアーキテクチャが廃止され、New Architectureがデフォルトになっています。
注目の変更点として、HermesバイトコードのDiff配信によりOTAアップデートのダウンロードサイズが最大75%削減されました。
Expo Router v7の同梱に加え、MCP＋エージェントスキルを活用したAIツーリングも含まれています。
また、iOSのdevビルドがローカルネットワーク上のdevサーバーを自動検出できるようになり、QRコードなしで開発を始められます。

Unistyles 3.1.0の大型リリースが準備中です。
Expo SDK 54がReact Native組み込みのenableEdgeToEdge Gradleプロパティに移行したことに合わせ、react-native-edge-to-edgeへの依存がオプションになります。
利用者数も増加しており、さらなる機能追加も予定されています。

Software Mansionが@native-html/renderをリリースしました。
メンテナンスが終了したreact-native-render-htmlの後継パッケージで、同じAPIを維持しながら最新のReact Nativeに対応しています。
継続的にメンテナンスされる予定のため、既存ユーザーは移行を検討してください。
We've just released @native-html/render! 📣 It's a successor to react-native-render-html with the exact same API, but it now supports the latest @reactnative. We will maintain it going forward, so we highly recommend switching, as the previous package is no longer maintained.

React Tokyo フェスに、React Native Japan のポスターセッションメンバーとして参加しました！ Webフロントエンド開発をメインにしている方から「React Native に興味がある」という声を多くいただき、国内での関心の高まりを肌で感じました。 日本でもReact Native がもっと広まっていくといいなと、改めて感じたイベントでした。
また、YogaへのCSSグリッド対応PRも動き出しました。 ずっと待ち遠しい機能でしたが、ようやくゴールも見えてきたのであと少しですね！
